About
How did it all begin?
Suntreckers was formed in 1982, and grew to become the U.K.’s largest naturist caravan and camping club and have a nationwide membership. We hold naturist caravan rallies across the country at a variety of naturist clubs, commercial naturist sites, farm fields, and private estates.
Our annual programme consists of approximately 100 caravan rallies – ranging from long weekends to 14 day holidays in the UK and in Europe.
You just need to have your own self- contained unit – be it a tent, trailer tent, caravan, or motorhome, and of course a genuine commitment to naturism. Whether you are a seasoned naturist or trying it for the first time you will receive a warm welcome. If you don’t own any of these units, you could consider renting a campervan or motorhome.
We are affiliated to British Naturism (BN), the organisation which represents the interests of all Naturists in the UK. All our members are expected to respect The Caravan Code, The Country Code, The Seashore Code and meet the obligations outlined in our Natural England Exemption Certificate. This certificate permits us to hold rallies on land without a site licence or the need to apply for planning permission.

A New Members’ Experience:
Editors note: this is a story from a few years ago but is how many people feel having experienced Suntreckers and/or naturism.
Having arrived at the end of my first rally season and would like to share my experience with you. Apart from going topless on the beach 30 odd years ago and sunbathing in the garden naked a few times, I’d never considered naturism – I have to admit I didn’t even know there was such a large and active naturist movement in the UK.
When I met Ian, his enthusiasm for Suntreckers and stories of his rally experiences soon had me wanting to join in. And I did, just after Easter when I attended my first rally, in a field near Coventry.
First Rally
Arriving on a chilly Friday evening I admit I was nervous! But there was absolutely no need to be. The Rally Officer made me welcome and asked me to join the get-together in the large gazebo when I was ready. Because of the weather nobody was stripped off, but they were all so kind and friendly, and very soon I was totally at my ease.
The evening was full of chat, some serious, some light-hearted, and a lot was humourous; by bedtime my sides ached from laughing! Next morning the sun shone warmly and my nerves returned as I prepared to attend the coffee morning. Nearly everybody was stripped off and it seemed the most natural thing to join them. My clothes came off, I was naked in the presence of other people for the first time in my life, and it felt totally wonderful, so free and natural.
Committed Member
By the end of the summer season, I had attended 9 rallies, looking forward to every one, meeting new people who are new friends.
I am, and always will be grateful to Ian for introducing me to Suntreckers. And to all you Suntreckers that I have met, thank you for the fun and friendship! I’m looking forward to seeing you all next year.
If you are thinking about naturism, and enjoy touring, give Suntreckers a try; YOU WON’T REGRET IT !!
Polly.
